I was delighted to receive an invitation to the Ippolita Fall Showcase at Lux Bond & Green in Boston. Partnering with Tiffany Ortiz (wife of Red Sox designated hitter David Ortiz), Lux Bond & Green and Boston-based Fashion Project collected gently-worn designer clothing and accessories from guests. The items were later donated to Unicef, a non-profit organization near and dear to Tiffany’s heart.
Guests, including a slew of local style bloggers, sipped on cocktails and perused Ippolita’s newest gems which were on display for both sample and sale. I had my eye on a sleek necklace and beautiful bangles from Ippolita, but the exquisite diamond necklace from Hearts on Fire kept beckoning me and scored a home run, literally. My tweet about the dazzling diamond won me two tickets to a Red Sox game next season. Thank you Lux Bond & Green.
