Join Angela Moore on Thursday, July 7 at Rosecliff in Newport, Rhode Island for her annual Fashion Show and Champagne Brunch to benefit the Preservation Society of Newport County. This year’s theme, Seaside Sensations, will showcase nautical and resort styles modeled by Newport elites and also celebrate “Splendor at Sea: The Golden Age of Steamship Yachting” – an exhibition currently on display at the stately mansion.
“I am thrilled to collaborate with the Preservation Society as we celebrate Splendor at Sea,” Moore said in a press release. “Seaside and nautical looks are part of Newport’s signature fashion style, and one which we think our audience will really enjoy.”
Guests are invited to pose for pictures on Rosecliff’s grand staircase and indulge in cocktails on the estate’s oceanfront terrace. During the two-hour event, guests can expect to see new looks from Angela Moore, Manuel Canovas, Just Madras and Jack Rogers.
This year marks Moore’s 17th show and the third time the designer has collaborated with the Preservation Society of Newport County. In 2015, Moore showcased “Fashion through the Decades” as a tribute to American legends such as Audrey Hepburn, Brigitte Bardot, and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. Tickets are $90 for Preservation Society members and $100 for non-members, and can be purchased here or by calling (401) 847-1000.
