With the official start to spring less than one week away, I’m beginning to change my closets from wooly and warm to wild and whimsical. While transitioning my threads, I’ve been slowly switching my scents…moving from rich sandalwood, amber and bergamot notes to soft jasmine, violet and citrus sprays. Here’s a look at the scents I’m savoring for spring…
Prada Candy has been my I-feel-gorgeous-and-love-my-outfit scent since it launched last August. Though more of a fall/winter choice because of its intoxicating infusion of musk, caramel and vanilla, I love it too much not to make it an all-season favorite. For spring/summer, I wear it only at night. Ladies, this is the kind of fragrance not to be wasted on an insignificant date.

Gucci Eau de Parfum II
Gucci Eau de Parfum II is one of my favorite scents for spring/summer. This beautiful bouquet of mandarin, violet and jasmine is pink perfection in a bottle. A few spritz is all I need to feel fierce, flirty and feminine. Sadly, I hear Gucci is phasing it out.

L’OCCITANE Cherry Blossom
I adore Cherry Blossom by L’OCCITANE. The sweet and soothing smell adds a spring to my step. I wear it during the day because of its softness and delicate trail of cheery blossom.

As the sophisticated style icon Coco Chanel once said, “A women who doesn’t wear perfume has no future.”
What scents are you wearing for spring and what do you think it says about you? Personally, perfume is the finishing touch that completes my look and gives me the added confidence I need to succeed. Take it from Chanel, and don’t leave home without it.
